Message from the Summit Chairman

Greetings of peace!
In 1995 the late crown prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz peace be upon his soul, decided to create the Humanitarian City as he was eager to affect positive change in people’s life and empathize with their pain and hardships in order to put an end to their suffering. Since then, the Humanitarian City continued the legacy of Sultan Bin Abdulaziz in sincere efforts to carry the mission of “helping people to help themselves” and support the healthcare sector in further enhancing the quality of Healthcare being provided to the community, locally and internationally..
In collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Foundation and strategic partnership with Ministry of Health, Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City is delighted to organize the 2nd International Patient Experience Summit: Shaping the future of health care on 04 – 06 February 2019 with the theme of “Patient experience as strategic drive for 2030 vision for health transformation.

This summit comes to bring the Patient Experience to a higher level of development and meaningful implementation.

The objective of this summit is to explore insights on patient experience as a strategic drive for healthcare transformation by sharing international and local best practices in patient experience, recognizing the role of innovative approaches/technology to improve patient experience, how to engage patients, how the leaders and healthcare providers can effectively optimize patient experience outcomes, to better understand the impact of patient experience on quality and cost of health care services, to help create a patient experience culture in healthcare sectors in the region, as well as to promote for health care providers’ wellness for better patient experience. As Saudi Arabia is driving towards significant transformation in many fields, this summit is designed to provide policy and decision makers with proven successful strategies to optimize the care provision and bring about effective and efficient healthcare reforms.
Attendees of the conference are encouraged to seize the opportunity to meet with the experts in Healthcare Services from around the globe, and to actively participate during the sessions, panel discussions and workshops in order to enhance their knowledge and acquire new strategies and skills to help improve the services they offer to the community.
